Just discovered Animoto – a great site that allows you to compile photos from either your laptop or from sites such as Flickr into a short video ( and then upload them to YouTube). Here is my first attempt – a series of photos taken during the course of 2010 at various Utility Warehouse Win A Mini events:

Mayhem at the M.E.N.
Just returned from a weekend in Manchester – the purpose ? to watch the WBA World Heavyweight Title fight at the MEN Arena between David Haye and Audley Harrison.
Fantastic occasion , good fight ( albeit brief) ,great atmosphere but slightly tarnished by the general aggravation of queuing for everything ( entry into the Arena , Security searches , getting anywhere inside the venue plus the mega queue for a taxi after the event ).
However ,all in all a great night out – you can’t beat a live sporting event ,watching on the TV comes nowhere near in terms of atmosphere and general “involvement”.
Poor old Audley was never really in contention – hence the spontaneous rendition of a well known chant sang at football grounds at the end – ” You’re sh*t and you know you are ” etc.
Bet that had the Sky TV producer rushing for the “mute” button !!
